After nearly 15 years in recruitment, I’ve had many conversations with people at different points in their careers. Some are ready for their next move. Others have been made redundant, are feeling burnt out, or know something needs to change but aren’t quite sure where to start.

I’ve been there too. And I know how much easier it is to take the next step when you have something practical to work through and someone in your corner.

That’s why I created Obtain. It’s a collection of tools to help you work through career moments that can feel overwhelming, whether you’re preparing to ask for a pay rise, rebuilding your confidence, or figuring out what you want next.

There are workbooks, prompts to help you get your thoughts together, and one-on-one coaching if you’d like to talk it through. I’ve drawn on what I’ve learnt in recruitment, along with the things I wish I’d had when I hit bumps in my own career.

You don’t need to have the whole plan worked out. Sometimes you just need a place to start: small, actionable, proven steps!
